Finding real people

Most rooms you're in are full of people. Real ones are harder to find.We spend a lot of time around people.At work. At school gates. At dinners. At events where someone inevitably asks, “So, what do you do?”And somehow, we can leave having spoken to twelve people without really meeting anyone.Off Duty is for something else.A small dinner for women who are craving real conversation with real people.There is no need to be interesting or have your shit together.
And please don't turn up as the successful one, the mother, the founder, the one-who-always-knows-what-she's-doing.Come as the person underneath all of that.

The Dinner

15 women. Not 50.Small enough that you don't disappear into the room.And no one is going to ask you to introduce yourself with your job title.Dinner that isn't in a hurry.A beautiful meal cooked for the evening by Chef Kuv.We sit. We eat. We talk.Nobody is trying to get to the next thing.One question.At some point during dinner, one question enters the table.Asked once. Answered however you want to answer it.There is no right answer.You don't need a breakthrough.
You don't even need to be particularly profound.
You just need to show up with an open heart and respect for all.

The Food

This isn't catering between conversations.Dinner is part of the evening.Chef Kuv has created more than 190 menus since 2017, but rarely cooks for a room this small.For Off Duty, he's creating an intimate menu specifically for the night ; food worth sitting down for, lingering over and remembering.Because good conversations deserves good food.
